9th European Congress of the International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics, European Region, is held this week <\/span>23rd<\/span><\/sup> \u2013 25th<\/span><\/sup> May<\/span> in Gothenburg. 27 researchers from the Gerontology Research Center, GEREC, both from the University of Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 and Tampere University are heading to Sweden to <\/span>present and share their newest research findings. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The theme of the multidisciplinary congress is \u201cTowards Capability in Ageing \u2013 from cell to\u00a0<\/span>society<\/span>\u201c<\/span>.<\/span> More than 1600 scientists and clinicians from approx. 60 countries worldwide are participating the congress.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

GEREC-researchers will have in total 14 oral presentations, 16 posters, five oral poster posters, two researchers chairing a symposium and two chairing a session. In addition, GEREC is having a booth no. <\/span>H01:13 <\/span>at the exhibition. Welcome to meet and visit us!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
